Every 2-3 months
The maintenance cycle of PVC floor film is generally maintained every 2-3 months. The main contents of maintenance include daily cleaning, waxing treatment and special stain treatment.
Daily cleaning
Use a clean wet mop to clean the floor every day to avoid dust and debris accumulation and prevent scratches on the floor. For areas with severe pollution, neutral detergents can be used for cleaning, but avoid using strong acid or strong alkaline detergents to avoid damaging the UV layer on the floor surface.
Sweep the floor regularly to keep the floor surface clean. Put soft pads or rubber pads under the feet of furniture to avoid scratches caused by direct contact between furniture and floor, and avoid dragging heavy objects on the floor.
Waxing maintenance
Waxing treatment is performed every 2-3 months to keep the floor smooth and bright. Before waxing, the floor surface needs to be cleaned, and then the wax water is diluted and evenly applied on the floor. After waiting for 5-10 minutes, use a floor cleaning machine to remove wax and use a water absorber to absorb sewage. Finally, clean and dry the floor with clean water, and then wax it after the floor is dry.
In places with heavy traffic and heavy wear, such as shopping malls and supermarket entrances, the maintenance cycle should be shortened and the waxing frequency of high-strength surface wax should be increased. Generally speaking, homogeneous PVC floors need to be waxed once a month in places with heavy wear.
Special stain treatment
Oil stain treatment: For local oil stains, the original solution of water-based degreaser can be directly poured on a towel to wipe; for large-area oil stains, the degreaser can be diluted in a certain proportion and cleaned with a floor scrubber. Oil stains should be treated in time to prevent oil stains from penetrating into the floor and causing stains that are difficult to clean.
Offset printing treatment: Spray cleaning maintenance wax can be used in combination with a high-speed polishing machine for polishing. For offset printing that has been around for a long time, a strong offset printing remover can be poured directly on a towel to wipe it.
Glue or gum treatment: Professional strong glue remover can be used to directly pour on a towel to wipe it off. If sticky materials such as glue or chewing gum are not cleaned up in time, they will stick to the floor and affect the appearance.
