The production process of PVC edge banding strips mainly includes the following steps:
Raw material preparation: Select high-quality raw materials, such as PVC resin, plasticizer, stabilizer and filler. These raw materials need to undergo strict quality inspection to ensure their quality.
Mixing and stirring: Put the raw materials into a high-speed mixer for sufficient stirring and mixing. During the stirring process, various additives such as lubricants, thickeners, etc. are gradually added to improve the mechanical properties and weather resistance of the PVC edge banding strips.
Extrusion molding: The mixed raw materials are fed into the extruder, melted and extruded by heating and pressurizing.
Cooling: The extruded PVC strips are cooled by a cooling water tank to make them hard. There are two cooling methods: water cooling and air cooling. Water cooling is to put the PVC strips into water for cooling, while air cooling is to blow cooling through a fan.
Cutting: The cooled PVC strips are cut by a cutting machine and cut into the required length and width.
Printing: The cut PVC strips can be printed by a printing machine with the required pattern or text.
Packaging: The printed PVC strips are packaged for transportation and sales. Usually, roll packaging and fixed-length packaging are used.
